He has been making Hip-Hop music since 2008 and so far has made Hip-Hop songs ranging from ground-breaking hardcore, socio-political tracks to roof-tearing hits and club bangers.

Being affluent with Hindi, English, Urdu languages and having a good hold on vocabulary, his lyrics clearly stand out from as much as he himself does. Initially, he made socio-political and hardcore rap songs but has evolved over the years to become more of a versatile hip-hop artist. His discography is quite diverse and covers almost all sub-genres of Hip-hop music highlighting his journey as an artist, his philosophy of life and views about the society/world. Being an impactful hip-hop head and one of the first generation Indian rap artists, he has featured along with his crew-mates on various music, cultural and entertainment platforms such as Scroll, BBC Asian Network and First post to name a few.

Making Influential music, contributing to the Indian hip-hop scene, uniting Hip-hop artists, bagging multiple titles as a battle rapper, being on the judging panel at hundreds of rap competitions, and having performed at various Hip-hop gigs, jams and fests across India, he has not only earned rich experience but also true fans/supporters for himself. These achievements have even made him receive praises from the likes of Manj Musik, Bobby Friction and other music industry veterans. Apart from being featured in print media, he also recently got featured in a published book titled “M for Minority (Muslims in #New India)”.

He has even appeared in the “Gully Boy” movie and has done rap pieces for the “Street Dancer 3D” movie under the music direction of Sachin-Jigar. Apart from having an underground touch to his music, he is quite well versed with making mass appealing songs such as “All the way up” remix (featured on BBC Asian network Cypher) and “Paisa -Paisa'' (released through Sony music). In 2019, he released his debut Album “Shaikh Them'' (Part-1) and has been releasing outstanding singles, crew-projects and collaborations back to back. His noticeable screen presence goes hand in hand with his music-making skills which is quite apparent in his much acclaimed music video “King-Don''. With his alter ego/screen persona as “Shaikh The Don”, he has started a wave of characterisation of Indian rappers, has created his own lane and is extending the role that a Hip-hop artist has to play in the field of music, art, street-culture and entertainment by putting out content that is extraordinary and well thought out.
